Chef's Tribute to Citymeals

Join us at Rockefeller Center on Monday June 10th, where we join an extraordinary selection of chefs for the 34th Annual Chefs Tribute to Citymeals on Wheels. The first tasting event of its kind, Chefs Tribute began as a birthday party for the late Chef James Beard, created by restaurant critic and Citymeals Co-Founder, Gael Greene, and chef friends Larry Forgione and Jonathan Waxman.
The event has grown into an annual touchstone of summer in New York and remains a tribute to Beard's legacy; his love of cooking and his dedication to homebound elderly New Yorkers who cannot shop or cook for themselves. 2019's event will celebrate the most brilliant culinary talents all over the world, and the farmers, butchers, mongers and other artisans who make their menus unique.

More than 1,000 guests will enjoy this annual walk-around tasting set against the backdrop of the world famous Rockefeller Center in the heart of New York.
100% of ticket sales will fund the preparation and delivery of meals for the city's most vulnerable population. Extraordinary support from chefs plus the generosity of our sponsors and patrons, has led Chefs Tribute to raise over $20 million since its inception.
